JUNE VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH!

Sue Blackney


Sue Blackney is a gorgeous person who also happens to have the hardest volunteer job at this club......that of treasurer.
There is nothing like balancing our finances, chasing player fees, organising registration, maintaining databases and paying court fees to fill in your spare time!!
As a committee member Sue also volunteers her time at the stadium weekly, at meetings monthly and is an ever present fair and measured voice.
Sue comes to us with years of experience in book-keeping and accounts and we are so lucky to have someone so skilled take on the role of treasurer. It is often a thankless job. But because of Sue's brilliance we are not only in a good financial position but the cogs of the whole club turn far more smoothly.
Sue supports her daughters and their teams and their coaches in a positive way and embraces the culture of this club. She also sets a high standard for those of us lucky enough to volunteer alongside her.
