December Volunteer of the Month - Maree Schena!!!!

There is no-one more loved and adored in our club than Maree. And there are many reasons for this; her ever-present smile, her laugh, her positivity. Maree has been with our club for many, many years with her four beautiful daughters growing up at Casey Districts. She has been a supportive parent who then turned into a team manager who was then convinced to become a coach. Maree is often the coach we call upon when we have no-one else and she has always volunteered her time on a Saturday.
At the end of every season Maree will say to me, "If you have someone else, someone better than me, someone who deserves a team I'll have a season off." We never listen. There is no-one else we would rather have. Club level netball is all about participation, inclusion and FUN......those three things are the strengths Maree brings to every team, every game and every player. And now, finally, Maree has joined our committee and will next season take on the very important role of Saturday Co-ordinator. We are so grateful you are part of our club Maree, you teach us every day what is important in junior sport.
